How to submit your abstract
The Steering Committee invites authors to submit abstracts to be considered for poster publication during the World Symposium.
All abstracts will be reviewed by the members of the Steering Committee and will be evaluated before being accepted or rejected. 


The submission deadline has been extended until September 11th at 23.59 CET time.
Notification deadline: the status of each abstract will be communicated within September 30th , 2017 by e-mail.

Abstract presentation
Only poster presentation is accepted (no oral presentation).

Each abstract must be submitted in English, no other language will be accepted.

Abstract Submission Tool
Only submission via Internet will be considered; do not print your abstract to send it by regular mail or by e-mail.

Abstract Topics
During the abstract submission procedure, you will have to choose between two different scientific topics:
- Clinical Science
- Basic Science

Abstract Size and Format
The abstract must be typed, single-spaced in English and must not exceed 2.000 characters (including spaces – excluding title).
It can be composed by text, tables and images. No Abstract Book will be printed.


Abstracts not complying with all the regulations above will be declined.

 Conditions of Submission
Studies on animals or in humans must have been performed with approval of the appropriate ethical committees.

Acknowledgement and Notification
Acknowledgement of receipt will be returned by e-mail to the presenting author by the Organizing Secretariat as soon as the abstract has been received.

The participation of all the authors in the Symposium requires the payment of the registration fee.
Only for the presenters, the registration fee will be reduced to € 550,00 (VAT included).

Poster Size
Poster must be 70 cm (base) x 100 cm (height). Adhesive tape to fix them to the panels will be provided.

Young Investigator Awards

On February 27, in the plenary session, a ceremony will be held to award with a certificate the best 6 selected abstracts (3 for basic science and 3 for clinical science).

Travel Support

We are glad to inform you that 68 participants will benefit from a travel support offered by a Sponsor Company to cover the following expenses:

Registration fee
Travel tickets (economy class)
Accommodation in Nice (4 stars hotel) arrival February 26 departure March 2
Nice airport/Hotel/airport transfer
Dinners February 26-27-28-March 1


According to the Sponsor Company indications, the travel support will be assigned to the posters presenters with the highest score coming from these Countries:
Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Colombia, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Nordic Countries, Spain, Turkey, UK, The Netherlands.

After the assignment to the poster presenters according to the Country and score criteria, in case some places will be left, any participant coming from the above indicated Countries will be allowed to apply to the travel support by completing the specific form at this link APPLICATION TRAVEL SUPPORT (Curriculum vitae to be provided).
The Steering Committee will choose among the additional candidates.
